After redundancy from Dixon's carphone in early 2015, I made the decision to take some time off from work and concentrate on the following areas: 

Planning, developing and launching a small family business called Fairly Traded. Fairly Traded operates both online as well as attending local craft-fairs and festivals selling a range of handmade, Fair Trade products from around the world.

Investigating and putting together a full business plan to launch an e-Sports Bar under the Meltdown franchise brand. Meltdown has e-Sports bars in 7 countries and 26 cities around the world. Meltdown are sponsored by some the biggest names in e-Sports and continue to expand. Although I was successful in securing £65,000 worth of investment, I made a decision to concentrate on finding full-time employment, giving myself and my fiancé guaranteed income whilst we pursue other areas of interest. The experience of putting together the business plan and pitching to banks and private investors taught me a lot about myself and what I am capable of.

Spending time with family including my fiancé and planning the next stages of our live together.

Lead the development, optimisation and rollout of Salesforce for the direct business.

Chaired weekly project management meetings with team leaders to take feedback, amendments & scope out new ideas.

Presented further enhancement ideas to senior leadership teams monthly.

Led the CPWB Franchise team inc. individual coaching and development planning for 15 franchisees, 3x internal Account Managers and 1 internal Franchise Recruitment Specialist.

Franchise Network financial reporting inc. involvement in budget setting, mobile network commercial planning and managing franchise payments/commission queries

Holding quarterly franchise reviews by region with the franchise network and their regional/internal account management teams

Presenting the business plans for the future and our performance to date to Dixons Carphone board members

Interviewing new, potential franchisees and ensuring the right candidates are brought into the network.
